Symptoms: network connectivity to the arbor lakes datacenter is not functioning normally; there is an issue with a switch which is being investigated by umnet.
Comments: The immediate cause was a broadcast storm in the Arbor Lakes Data Center; the cause is under investigation.

- As of 11:45, the network has been stable and most systems have returned to normal operation.

Database and mail server load was abnormally high as a result of this issue, but should be operating normally at this time
