| Symptoms: | These machines will all be rebooted to install a new kernel that is patched to prevent a security vulnerability announced today. Users will be disconnected from these machines and will have to re-establish their connection. |
| Comments: | Because of the publication of a functioning exploit for this code, we have moved up this emergency maintenance. We apologize for any undue user impact this may have. We are taking steps to minimize the length of time these systems will be unavailable. |
